The most common question after "how much?" is "how long?" Here's an honest week-by-week breakdown.

Week 1: Post-auction processing

Title transfer, payment confirmation and release from the auction yard. Usually 5–10 business days.

Week 2: US inland transport

Trucking from the auction yard to the port of export (typically Newark, Baltimore or Houston). 5–10 days.

Weeks 3–6: Ocean freight

RoRo to Tema runs roughly 18–28 days. Container can add a few days at each end for stuffing and de-stuffing.

Weeks 7–8: Tema clearance & delivery

Once the vessel docks, valuation, duty payment and physical exam takes 5–10 working days with a sharp agent. Then DVLA registration and you're driving.

Total

Plan for 6–10 weeks from winning bid to driving the vehicle. Faster is possible but not the baseline.
